Rolf Armstrong’s paintings portray the American girl in all her warmth and vital charm. Working with an extraordinary selection of pastel colors, Armstrong created pin-up paintings for Brown & Bigelow for almost 30 years. He refused to work from photographs and used only living models. His search for the perfect model was unending. Armstrong’s work is a combination of vivid colors, superior creativity and beautiful subjects – American femininity at its finest.
